Sandton’s first business resort – The Capital On The Park, in Katherine Street – opened officially last week.
The new R500m  business resort offers business facilities, accommodation and leisure and entertainment facilities.
The business resort offers 300 rooms made up of 175 standard rooms, five studio apartments, and 125 one/two-bedroom apartments (convertible through an inter-leading door). Residential penthouses are also available for locals who seek the upmarket city apartment lifestyle.
The resort has a conference centre that seats up to 500 delegates, a 24/7 on-the-go deli, restaurants, and a gym with its own personal trainer and specialised fitness classes.
It also offers a signature outdoor champagne bar, social bar and restaurant with menus carefully created to showcase the latest food trends.
One of the unique selling points of the resort is its daily change in entertainment options for long-stay guests, overnight business travellers, and city residents seeking somewhere new and exciting to let off steam at the end of the day. This can range from after-work cocktails listening to local beats from resident DJs every Friday night, to pool parties and themed buffets.
