Celebrity Cruises has announced its return to cruising in Europe, along with the world debut of its brand-new ship, Celebrity Apex, on June 19. Bookings open on March 30.

All crew and guests above the age of 18 must be vaccinated against COVID-19, and those under 18 must present negative PCR test results.

Celebrity Apex will offer seven-night roundtrip itineraries from Athens throughout September, visiting the Greek islands of Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini; Limassol in Cyprus and Haifa (with excursions to Jerusalem) in Israel.

A range of tours will be available at every port, including Private Journeys and Small Group Discovery Tours for guests preferring to tour with just members of their family or travelling companions.

“Celebrity Apex is such an exquisite ship and for her to finally begin sailing in the beautiful Aegean, where it all began for our fleet, and after so long away, is incredibly meaningful,” said Celebrity Cruises president and ceo, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.

Celebrity Cruises is represented in South Africa by Cruises International.
