Correction: Movement at the 'Desert' (April 28, 2000)

16 May 2000 - by Dave Marsh

THE owners of Desert and Delta Safaris will not be taking over the marketing and reservations of all wildlife products to Botswana, as stated in the above article.
Desert and Delta Safaris, which owns Camp Moremi, Camp Okavango and Savute Safari Lodge, is now handling the marketing of some other lodges in the region, namely Xugana Island Lodge, Tsaro Elephant Lodge, Chobe Game Lodge and Chobe Savanna Lodge.
Desert and Delta Safaris is owned by Afro Ventures Botswana, Anglogold and Chobe Holdings.
This follows the merger of Afro Ventures with CCAfrica earlier this year.
CCAfrica will continue to handle the marketing of all its wholly owned lodges in the region, namely Nxabega, Sandibe and Matetsi, as well as Afro Ventures' tours and safaris.
