The annual Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is set to take place from January 2 until February 2.
Under the slogan of ‘Dubai at its best’ DSF offers discounts on goods, while daily car raffles are held along with nightly fireworks displays. Other events range from in-mall fashion shows, musicians, street performers, children’s entertainers, jugglers and more.
The longest running festival of its kind in the region and celebrating its 19th edition in 2014, DSF was started in 1996 as an initiative by the Dubai government to promote trade in the area.
The first 18 festivals attracted 47 million visitors who injected AED 114 billion into the economy of the United Arab Emirates. With more than 68 world-class shopping malls in Dubai, the city showcases the best of both Western and authentic Arabic shopping experiences throughout the city.
