For travellers looking for experiences off the beaten track, Soul Community Planet (SCP) has opened a new eco-lodge on a 76-hectare private reserve in Costa Rica.

Nestled between the Corcovado National Park and the Isla del Caño Biological Reserve, a marine ecosystem, SCP Corcovado Wilderness Lodge is an all-inclusive offering that is completely off the grid. It provides environmentally friendly accommodations, and cuisine with ingredients that are locally and sustainably sourced. Those seeking adventure are spoiled for choice and can indulge in a range of activities – from hiking and kayaking to bird-watching and fishing.

The lodge is surrounded by more than 100 000 hectares of rainforest and is only accessible by boat, with daily round-trips provided.

The property’s accommodation types include 20 Rainforest Village villas and 10 Luxury Treehouse Village villas and facilities include several restaurants, bars and pools.

The eco-lodge is a member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ L.V.X. Collection and Beyond Green. For more information, visit www.scphotel.com/corcovado.
