Emirates will deploy its Airbus A350 on flights to Nairobi from October 25. The new aircraft will operate on flights EK717 and EK718.
As the newest aircraft type to join the airline’s widebody fleet, the A350 accommodates 298 passengers in business, premium economy and economy cabins.
The introduction of the A350 also marks the debut of Emirates’ premium economy cabin in Kenya. The cabin is spacious, with reclining seats that feature adjustable headrests, more leg-room and a 33cm screen.
Business class is configured in a 1-2-1 layout, ensuring every passenger has aisle access. The cabin features a fully lie-flat seat and a personal minibar. At the back of the cabin is a snack display area allowing passengers to help themselves to refreshments throughout the flight.
Economy class features an upgraded inflight entertainment system on a 33cm 4K adjustable touchscreen.
The deployment of the A350 follows a series of enhancements to services in Kenya, including the introduction of the third daily flight between Dubai and Nairobi in July.
