El Al – bring paper copies to check-in

El Al has informed travel agents that to avoid congestion at the check-in area, passengers travelling on the airline are requested to bring a printed copy of their negative pre-travel PCR test and a printed copy of their Green Pass declaration form.

Israeli passport holders do not need to do a pre-travel PCR test.

All passengers, however, must compete the declaration form – entry statement form – in the 48 hours pre-flight.

Clients must fill in personal information and details of those travelling with them, a health statement, information on vaccines administered or recovery and isolation accommodation.

After completing the form, passengers receive a link where they can pay in advance for the PCR test that they must take on arrival in Israel. This test is in addition to the pre-flight test.

Pax need to provide confirmation of having completed the entry statement form before departure or entering the border crossing. Although the Ministry of Health’s website says it may be retained in print or digitally, El Al asks passengers to bring a printed copy to the airport.

The airline also advises agents that, at this stage, antigen tests are not accepted. More information can be found at: https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/arriving-by-air
