Emirates’ ban extended again

15 Feb 2021

Emirates has sent out a communication saying its flights to South Africa will remain suspended until at least March 10, in line with a United Arab Emirates government directive that bars entry to travellers originating from South Africa, (and those who have been in South Africa in the 14 days prior to flying) into the UAE. Passengers with tickets for final destinations in South Africa will not be accepted for travel at the point of origin, says the airline.
