Etihad will begin its first-ever direct flights to Bali on April 23, 2024.
The flights will operate four times a week using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Flight EY476 will depart Abu Dhabi International Airport at 22h25 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and arrive at Denpasar International Airport at 11h35 the following day. Return flight EY477 will depart from Denpasar at 18h45 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 23h45.
“We have timed the flights so guests can even enjoy a long weekend if they choose. We can’t wait to go there,” said Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways.
Bali has seen a rapid post-pandemic recovery and surpassed its annual target of 4,5 million international visitors, with 4,25 million arrivals between January and May 2023 according to Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. The Tourism Ministry expects the country to see over five million international visitors by the end of the year.
