THIS month sees the opening of the Hilton Durban hotel's executive lounge, the Clubroom, situated on the 14th floor of the hotel.
Facilities offered at the Clubroom include check-in facilities, complimentary continental breakfasts, e-mail and Internet facilities, plus a 'Clubroom Cocktail Time' where complimentary hot and cold snacks are served with drinks from 17h30 to 20h30.
The Clubroom serves executive floors 13, 14,15 and 16 and will be offered free of charge for the duration of the month. Thereafter, there will be an additional supplement of R100 onto the normal corporate rate.
In addition, the hotel has introduced a promotion called Meeting 2000.
Sales and marketing co-ordinator, Chontelle Lottering, explains: "For every qualifying booking (ie function, meeting or conference) in the Hilton Hotel, with a minimum of 10 room nights, executives can earn points towards either free nights or free airmiles on 29 international airlines, including British Airways, South African Airways and American Airlines."
