Singita has announced plans to open its first Botswana property in the Okavango Delta.

The new lodge, Singita Elela, is set to open in July 2026 and will offer travellers exclusive access to a 170 000-hectare concession.

The lodge will offer expansive views of the Delta. It will be decorated and furnished with art and furniture from local artists and carpenters as part of Singita’s local enrichment programme.

The design features a transition between the main lodge and back of house, with guests able to wander between the two sections, enabling closer interactions with the guides, conservation officers and staff.

Singita currently operates lodges in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Rwanda.
