Terminal 1 at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport is set to reopen by the end of March, resuming both international and domestic operations.

According to the Israel Airports Authority, Terminal 1 is expected to handle over 1 377 departing flights in April, accounting for nearly 25% of the airport’s total outbound traffic.

The terminal first closed in 2023, following the October 7 attacks. It reopened in June last year, but closed again in November for renovations and maintenance.

The reopening comes as international airlines, including United, Delta, British Airways and Lufthansa resume flights to Israel.
