FlySafair adjusts to Level 4

29 Jun 2021
Comments | 0

FlySafair has sent out a notice of schedule adjustments necessitated by the June 27 Presidential announcement of an adjusted Level 4 lockdown.

The airline says customers with existing bookings should be on the alert for communications about possible flight changes, and that communications will be via SMS and email, using the mobile numbers and email addresses provided at the time of booking.

Customers with the closest departures will be contacted first, and from there, FlySafair will work forward through bookings to inform customers of any changes.

Given that leisure travel is no longer permitted, the airline has made certain adjustments to its terms and conditions to accommodate clients.

*Penalty-free changes are permitted on all ticket types. Clients may change their flight to a confirmed future date without paying any penalty fees. However, these will be subject to a fare-difference payment if the new flight ticket wanted costs more than the original.

*Full refund to wallet. All our flights are refundable to wallet, but some of the fare types carry a penalty fee. This fee is being suspended, which means customers can get full credits for their flights which are valid for the next 12 months.
