Free stopover in Saudi

23 Feb 2023
Comments | 0

Saudia has ensured that Saudi Arabia-bound travellers can obtain a stopover visa immediately during the booking process.

Agents can let clients know they can now stop for up to 96 hours with a free stay for one day in the country. This gives visitors time to perform Umrah, visit holy sites, or visit tourist and historic places.

The electronic stopover visa is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is valid for 90 days from date of issuance. The stopover visa is not extendable.

Obtaining the electronic stopover visa does not necessarily guarantee entry to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the documents will be checked by the passport officer to verify the validity of the information submitted.

The offer is also available through Saudi low-cost airline Flynas.
