Hahn Air corporate solution takes off

Hahn Air (HR) has launched a global corporate charter product called HR-Shuttle Manager that willbenefit TMCs working for corporations who need shuttle flights for staff.

HR-Shuttle Manager makes corporate shuttle flights and fares for businesses and organisations available in the GDS. This means TMCs will be able to book shuttle flights under the code HR and issue the tickets on Hahn Air’s HR-169 document.

Phillip Collings, Director of Corporate Sales for Hahn Air, says the newly launched solution uses an aircraft charter broker alongside the HR-Shuttle Manager solution to offer an end-to-end product, from sourcing aircraft to the system itself.

Collings told Travel News that corporates and organisations that had requirements to move teams and members of staff from mainland to sea (where there is an oil rig) or from city to city on a regular basis can utilise HR-Shuttle Manager to create schedules and destinations and even specify types of aircraft, depending on how many people need to be moved.

HR-Shuttle Manager also facilitates helicopter travel for teams who need to be dropped on oil rigs at sea.

Says Collings: “We create fares and flight rules for flights upfront, according to the client’s requirements. The flight is then booked in the GDS and tickets are issued on the Hahn Air document. These processes currently are done manually for each charter flight and we believe that having things all in one place could be a lot more tempting to potential customers.

“The product is doing very well in Europe among oil and gas companies, and we are seeing interest growing in the mining and agriculture sectors. What we have done is to make the charter process seamless and hassle-free by putting these chartered flights in the GDS, to be seen only by the agency that handles that particular client.”

The HR-Shuttle Manager product offers:

  • Customised and flexible integration processes tailored to a client’s needs.
  • Detailed monthly sales reports.
  • Full control over all bookings as well as all records of boarded and no-show passengers.
  • Hahn Air-affiliated teams guarantee efficient, fast and reliable service at all times on the ground and in the air.
  • Agents will be able to use the standard reservation and ticketing processes in the GDS to book flights.
  • Agents will have access to professional waitlist management, refund processes, baggage allowances and pre-seating.
  • Corporate travellers will benefit from convenient online check-in.
