Holland America Line is inviting South Africans to sample its 2025 Grand World Voyage by making it possible to book segments of the world cruise.

These segments were previously only open to certain markets and difficult for South Africans to book, according to Tracey Krog of Development Promotions, which represents Holland America Line in the South African market. Segments of the cruise can now be booked by South African travel agents from US$169 (R2 990) per person per day.

Segments of the cruise sail between two key ports and range from 20 to 55 days for Zuiderdam’s Grand World Voyage and between 33 and 100 days on Volendam’s Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole.

Available segments include a 55-day cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Singapore, a 20-day Athens to Fort Lauderdale cruise, a 47-day sailing from Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires, and a 33-day cruise from Amsterdam to Fort Lauderdale.

Guests can also join the Grand Voyage from Cape Town to Fort Lauderdale. Guests will have access to all on-board offerings that Grand Voyage travellers enjoy.
