Health forms scrapped for domestic travel

25 Nov 2020
Comments | 0

Acsa has announced via Twitter that, from midnight yesterday, November 24, there is no longer a requirement for the health questionnaire to be filled in by domestic travellers.

Mango also tweeted this but, as yet, there has been no confirmation from the Department of Health.

“We have also been advised in this regard, that health questionnaires will therefore not be required from November 25, 2020 onwards for domestic travellers only,” Mango said.

Acsa said it would continue with temperature screening for airport entry, and would continue to allow entry only to those with the applicable paperwork for the flight. The wearing of masks in the airport and for travel continues to be mandatory, social distancing is still required within airport terminals and, of course, passengers are encouraged to maintain hand hygiene and sanitise their hands frequently.
