Ireland moves on from COVID

Ireland has now scrapped all COVID-19-related entry requirements for international arrivals.

With the goal of facilitating easy access for Ukrainian refugees, the changes apply to travellers from all nations around the world.

Effective yesterday (March 7), travellers entering Ireland no longer need to present proof of a negative COVID test, nor will they have to quarantine on arrival, whether they are vaccinated or not. Passenger locator forms are also no longer required.

“You will no longer need a COVID Pass to enter Ireland but you will still need it to get into many other EU countries,” Deputy Prime Minister Leo Varadkar advised via his Twitter account.

More than 90% of all adults in Ireland have already been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
