LUX to open Botswana safari lodge

The Lux Collective has announced its expansion plans for 2025, which include debuting the LUX brand in Botswana.

The collaboration between LUX and Diamond Power Pty Ltd will be the first hotel management agreement in Southern Africa for LUX.

LUX Xinii Mababe will be located in Mababe in the Okavango Delta. The resort will be designed in a minimalistic style with each of the 26 ‘lodges’ featuring a centrepiece emulating an African tree. The roofs will be designed in a funnel shape, distinctive of the Okavango Delta’s Hambukushu tribes, and is an age-old method of harvesting rainwater.

LUX will also make its debut in the Middle East and Vietnam this year, and the Lux Collective’s brand, SALT, will expand outside Mauritius for the first time, with two resorts planned for China.
