Manage B&B bookings online

Micros South Africa and Tsogo Sun’s Book a Guesthouse programme have partnered to create a property management system for smaller accommodation establishments such as B&Bs and guesthouses.

The Fidelio WebSuite 8 package will assist those in the travel trade as it is fully hosted and requires minimal IT skills. It is customised for each guesthouse in the Tsogo Sun Book a Guesthouse programme and handles all online bookings and all guest and room management activities, while also storing guest information and preferences.

The Book a Guesthouse programme for entrepreneurial development of accommodation establishments was started by Tsogo Sun eight years ago in an effort to develop, mentor and coach the owners of accommodation establishments who showed the potential to become sustainable enterprises. The Micros SA system has been developed in an effort to contribute hospitality software and support of around R5 million over the next few years to the entrepreneurs who own the B&Bs or guesthouses in the Book a Guesthouse programme.

The Fidelio WebSuite 8 roll-out will begin with entrepreneurs in Soweto, then the rest of Gauteng, followed by other provinces and will conclude during 2014.
