Massive discount on fares to Egypt

26 Nov 2021
Comments | 0

Egypt Air has a really special promotional fare for sale up to November 30. And in more good news to the trade -  the carrier will increase its frequencies to Johannesburg in December.

Hossam Zaky, Egypt Air’s Regional General Manager in Johannesburg told Travel News that flights will double from December 9. He said currently Egypt Air has two night-time flights a week, Fridays and Sundays, departing JNB at 21h45 and arriving CAI at 05h35 the following day. The inbound flights operate on Thursday and Saturday nights, departing CAI at 23h10, and arriving JNB at 07h10 the following day.

From December 9, the flights will operate on Friday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. All the flights will be operated on the Boeing787 Dreamliner.

The airline’s promotion is an amazing offer – 50% discount on the fare to Egypt (and internal flights in Egypt). This is valid for sales up to and including November 30, 2021. Outbound travel validity is up to and including December 15, 2021. Reservations must be in T/S/L class, and fare conditions are as per the GDS.

To enter Egypt travellers from South Africa need a negative certificate from a PCR test taken in the 72 hours prior to departure. If the traveller is transiting through Cairo, they should follow the requirements of the destination where they are headed.
