Daisy the rhino calf was recently filmed running around, wrapped in her blanket at the Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary in the greater Barberton Nature Reserve in Mpumalanga, the biggest rhino sanctuary in the world.

She was found weak and alone in a national park in South Africa before she was transported to the sanctuary’s ICU in December 2021. At only a few hours old, Daisy struggled to survive. She needed 24/7 care and treatments to boost her weak immune system.

Getting healthy was not easy but, luckily, she has not been on this remarkable journey alone.

Click here to watch the video on Instagram of Daisy running around in her blanket, joined by her carers.
