THE uncertain future of the Haven Hotel near Elliotdale at the Eastern Cape's Wild Coast - which is set to close on September 15 until the deal with the new owners has been secured - is a step closer to being resolved.
Current owner of the hotel, Clive Berlyn, told Travel Now that negotiations were continuing between his group, Wild Coast Hotels and the Wild Coast Spatial Development Initiative (SDI) and "all indications are that the hotel will remain open".
"We are just waiting for the guarantees and agreements to be in place before we take the final decision."
