The Mantis Kivu Queen-uBuranga, a floating luxury hotel, is set to launch in March 2021.

With ten modern cabins, a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, and viewing deck with a hot tub, this boat experience will take guests on a cruise along Rwanda’s Lake Kivu in the country’s Western Province.

Guests can enjoy guided hikes and bird-watching activities in the Albertine Rift montane forests that surround Lake Kivu and learn about the villages through a variety of interactions based on culture and cuisine.

The staff on board are all local and offer guests exceptional service while providing much-needed income for the local community.
