New lounges at Lanseria

Standard Bank has launched its new Fluent Lounge and Waiting Lounge at Lanseria International Airport. 

The launch of the Fluent Lounge comes soon after the reopening of Standard Bank’s Library Lounge at OR Tambo International Airport. 

Lanseria is looking to revive its pre-COVID expansion plans and aiming to double its passenger numbers to more than four million within the next six years. 

“With so much growth in the region, the airport is expected to become much busier and we wanted to create a comfortable space for our clients to relax and unwind while waiting to board their flights,” says Schalk Kotze, Head of Affluent, Consumer and High Net Worth SA at the Standard Bank Group. 

The Fluent Lounge features a relaxing space for adults and has a kiddies’ corner to keep youngsters entertained. Light meals and refreshments are available and there is free WiFi access and charge-points for devices. 

The newly-opened Waiting Lounge offers a relaxing space for visitors to wait while collecting someone from the airport. 

The lounges are open seven days a week, during the following operating hours: 

  • Monday to Saturday: 05h30-20h00 

  • Sunday: 07h00-20h00
