The Townhouse Hotel & Conference Centre has launched its new website.

The hotel is located in the heart of Cape Town and is a popular choice for business travellers, parliamentary visitors and conference delegates during the week as well as leisure travellers on the weekend and holidays and the website includes links for ‘What to do’ in the city and its surrounds and a downloadable walking map of the central CBD. Popular tourist attractions, places of interest, museums, the V&A Waterfront and scenic walking routes are also included.

The new website includes a platform for social media interaction. “We live in a fast-paced digitally evolving world and we want to be sure that our website meets the needs and expectations of visitors to our site,” says Jacqueline Williams, gm of the hotel.

“We’ve designed the new website with tablet and smartphone users in mind. It’s visually led with striking photography and we want users to be able to share information about the hotel across social media platforms and review sites. The functionality enables this.”
