International travellers to the Netherlands no longer need to show a negative PCR test result on arrival, regardless of vaccination status.
The news comes as the country continues to loosen COVID-related travel restrictions.
All arrivals must still complete a health declaration form before departure, and are advised to self-test immediately after arrival and again on day five of their stay.
For arrivals from non-EU countries, including South Africa, proof of either vaccination or recovery from COVID-19 is still mandatory. Travellers from an EU/Schengen country no longer need to show proof of vaccination or recovery to enter.
According to www.klm.co.za, face masks must be worn on flights to and from South Africa.
