Oceania Cruises’ four R-class ships – Regatta, Insignia, Nautica and Sirena – will undergo a $100m (R1,4bn) refurbishment, starting in December.
The transformation includes a revamp of all suites and staterooms, with each receiving custom-crafted furnishings, exotic stone and polished wood finishes. All walls in public spaces will be painted, and new fabrics, furnishings and lighting fixtures will be installed. Other areas to be redone include the dining room, the reception hall, and the Canyon Ranch spa.
