Cruises International hosted its first ever Gala Awards Dinner at the Protea Fire and Ice

hotel on Friday, June 8. The glamourous affair was held to recognise top performing

agents. George Argyropoulos, ceo of Cruises International, used the gala to highlight

the untapped potential to sell cruises in the South African market. He said while

cruising accounts for 6% of travel within the US, in SA cruising accounted for only
