Princess Cruises adds new ship to fleet

21 Oct 2019

Princess Cruises has announced the arrival of the Sky Princess Medallion-class ship.

With guest capacity of 3 660, the new flagship shares all the style aspects of sister ships – Regal Princess, Royal Princess and Majestic Princess.

Sky Princess debuts the new luxurious Sky Suites and two new entertainment experiences – a combined digital and physical gaming capability; and Take 5, an exclusive jazz theatre at sea.

It will be Princess Cruises’ first purpose-built ship, designed to deliver a new level of services enhanced by a complimentary OceanMedallion wearable device.

The OceanMedallion wearable device delivers personalised service through guest-crew interactions and interactive entertainment, eliminating friction points.

Princess Cruises’ fleet continues to expand, with Enchanted Princess in June 2020, Discovery Princess in November 2021 and two additional ships in 2023 and 2025.
