PROTEA Hotel Inchanga, situated half way between Durban and Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu Natal, has become the newest property to join Protea Hotels' portfolio in the province.
The 100-year old Victorian property was built in 1903, and was recently renovated. It comprises 25 bedrooms and two suites. "This is the first property of its kind to join our region, so we hope to be able to cater for our guests who enjoy very personalised service and a bit of old world charm," said Aart van der Heijden, Protea Hotels' regional director for KZN.
The hotel also offers two conference rooms, accommodating a maximum of 100 guests.
