Royal Caribbean (RCI) has announced that, from August 8, it will no longer require fully vaccinated passengers to produce a negative COVID-19 test when they embark on cruises of six nights or less.
Unvaccinated travellers and those joining cruises of more than six nights, will still be required to show proof of a negative test, taken within three days of their departure.
The cruise line has said it will continue to maintain a high percentage of vaccinated guests on its ships. The requirement for crew members to be fully vaccinated and boosted and undergo regular testing will also remain.
