SAA has a wonderful Christmas gift for Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)!

The airline has announced it will put on flights from Johannesburg to Gqeberha just in time for the festive season, with flights commencing on Monday, December 12.

SAA says it will offer three return flights per day to PLZ, using an Airbus A320 on the route. The schedule is as yet unknown.

The carrier will also begin its Victoria Falls service from Wednesday, December 14. The six-times-a-week flight (excluding Saturdays) will depart from Johannesburg at 10h50, arriving at Victoria Falls International Airport at 12h25. Departure from Victoria Falls is at 13h10 and the flight arrives in Johannesburg at 14h50. Victoria Falls remains a popular tourist destination and the airline is proud to take its customers to the magnificent sight of one of the world's largest waterfalls.

To accommodate Harare-bound customers ahead of the festive season, SAA has increased frequencies to the Zimbabwe capital from seven to 10 a week.

And for eager holidaymakers wanting to get to Mauritius, those flights have been increased from four to seven a week.

SAA starts its twice-daily service to Windhoek on Thursday, December 8.
