Seabourn has released its new collection of entertainment options for the 90-day Grand Africa Voyage, with segments available for booking departing from Cape Town.

The Seabourn Sojourn will sail from Cape Town to the Seychelles from December 27, 2024 to January 13, 2025, on Seabourn’s Mozambique Channel Discovery and Zanzibar Nights cruise. It will also sail from Cape Town to Las Palmas from January 28 to February 19, 2025 on the West African Discovery: Cape Town to the Canaries cruise.

Guests sailing from Cape Town to the Seychelles will be able to meet explorer, adventurer and author, Riaan Manser. The South African explorer is the first person to cycle around the perimeter of Africa and the author of Around Africa on my Bicycle. He will be on board from January 4 to January 12, 2025.

Those sailing from Cape Town to Las Palmas can attend talks by wildlife photographer and documentary host, Chris Fallows, from January 14 to January 27, 2025. Fallows is the host of the popular ‘Air Jaws’ TV show on Discovery Channel and is known for identifying the breaching Great White shark behaviour (which gives them incredible speed when they are hunting seals) at Seal Island in Cape Town.

Primatologist, explorer and TV host Mireya Mayor will join the Seabourn Sojourn for the same cruise, from January 23 to January 31. Mayor is an Emmy-Award-nominated wildlife correspondent for National Geographic.

The Charl du Plessis Trio will be on board for this sailing to the Canary Islands from January 23 to January 27. The musical ensemble performs a range of music from classical to jazz. The band features pianist Charl du Plessis, bassist Werner Spies and drummer Peter Auret.

Departing from Barcelona on November 30, the Seabourn Sojourn will sail a 90-day voyage around Africa before returning to Barcelona.
