Seabourn unveils 2029 summer sailings

Seabourn has unveiled its 2029 Summer Ocean Voyages programme, featuring 166 sailings to more than 180 destinations across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, Canada and New England, according to Cruise Industry News.

The voyages will be operated by Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Encore. Highlights include the line’s first return to Egypt in more than five years and a new seven-day Gulf of Bothnia itinerary.

From March to November, Seabourn Ovation will offer 21 Mediterranean itineraries. Selected voyages include an overnight stay in Alexandria, allowing time for excursions to Cairo and the Great Pyramids of Giza. The season also introduces a maiden call at Kapsali on the Greek island of Kythira.

In Northern Europe, Seabourn Quest will sail from May to September, covering Scandinavia, the Baltic, the British Isles, Northern Norway, Iceland and Greenland. Its new Gulf of Bothnia voyage includes maiden calls at Härnösand, Kemi, Rauma and Oulu. Alta and Frøya are also new ports for the season.

Seabourn Encore will operate seven-day Alaska voyages between Juneau and Vancouver from May to September, alongside 10- and 11-day itineraries extending to destinations including Valdez, Whittier and College Fjord. Every Alaska sailing includes glacier viewing, with optional Ventures by Seabourn activities available.

In September and October, Seabourn Quest will offer 12- and 13-day Canada and New England voyages, with overnight stays in Boston, Quebec City and St John’s and visits to boutique ports including Gaspé, Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Prince Edward Island.
