Serendib Hotels in Malawi has added a new property to its portfolio. Zaburi Beach by Serendib is located on the shore of Lake Malawi at Mangochi, on a 45-acre property of lush tropical vegetation and includes a 400-metre beach.
The resort comprises 12 chalets, one honeymoon suite and one family suite, decorated in a rustic African chic theme. Developments are under way to build up to 50 chalets.
The resort also offers two conference rooms, with a capacity of 150 and 200 respectively. Facilities include beach volleyball, a football field and an Olympic-size swimming pool overlooking the landscape. The resort also offers excursions to Liwonde National Park as well as canoeing, jet-skiing and fishing.
Guests can enjoy both local and international cuisine and a dinner cruise can be served on Lake Malawi on board the MV Magunda.
