Skukuza Safari Lodge, situated in Kruger National Park’s Skukuza Rest Camp, is now managed by aha Hotels & Lodges. Officially reopening this month, the lodge will offer guests a safari experience in one of South Africa's renowned natural settings.

The lodge has 128 rooms (including 11 family rooms and eight luxurious suites), a welcoming bar, fully-equipped gym, refreshing swimming pool and restaurant offering a diverse selection of à la carte and buffet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Mondzo meeting room is ideal for intimate gatherings and presentations. For larger events, the recently refurbished Nombolo Mdhluli Conference Centre is a premier venue accommodating 600 delegates in the main conference room and 160 attendees in each of its four breakaway rooms. It has state-of-the-art technology for seamless and sophisticated events.

The destination offers a myriad of experiences from stargazing under the vast African sky during bush braais to exploring areas of the park on guided drives or self-guided tours. Corporate clients can create events that will leave a lasting impact on their teams and guests.

Conveniently located just 15km from the Kruger National Park’s Paul Kruger Gate, the lodge is easily accessible and a short distance from Skukuza Airport, which offers daily flights on Airlink from Johannesburg and Cape Town.

The world-renowned Skukuza Golf Club, with its unique course, awaits golf enthusiasts. For those seeking relaxation, the AM Spa offers a range of rejuvenating treatments. Adventure seekers can also enjoy guided walks through the Kruger National Park.

Reopening the lodge is a significant milestone for a unique public-private partnership between SANParks, aha Hotels & Lodges (a division of Tourvest) and Karibu Leisure Resorts (a 100% black female-owned company). This partnership is committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities and ensuring the surrounding communities of Kruger National Park benefit directly from its success.
