Sun International has signed with global online distributor, SiteMinder.

The partnership will connect Sun International’s Central Reservations System (CRS), Opera ORS, and its IDeaS Revenue Management System (RMS) with the world’s leading booking channels, using SiteMinder’s distribution technology platform.

Revenue manager for Sun International, Anton van Wyk says: “As South Africa’s leading casino, resorts and hotel group, Sun International is excited to be partnering with SiteMinder and its world-class distribution technology platform. Sun International selected SiteMinder for its robust, seamless, third-party distribution capabilities and outstanding support structure, which all fit perfectly with our distribution strategy and planning.”

SiteMinder’s gm in South Africa, Lisa Horne, says the “landmark partnership” cements SiteMinder as the market leader in online distribution in southern Africa and will place Sun International well ahead of its competitors in the rapidly evolving and competitive online market in South Africa.
