Sun City’s Valley of Waves will reopen on September 23, just in time for Heritage Day.

The facility was closed at the beginning of lockdown and remained closed while maintenance crew upgraded the wave-generating mechanisms.

On Wednesday, September 23, Valley of Waves will operate between 09h00 and 18h00. From the Heritage Day public holiday on September 24 through to Saturday, September 26, the facility will be open to all residents and visitors between 09h00 and 17h00. Then it will open again between 18h00 and 21h00 for the exclusive use of hotel guests and Sun Vacation Club residents. From Sunday, September 27, operating hours will revert to 09h00 until 18h00.
