TK expands Boeing fleet

Turkish Airlines has placed an order for up to 150 Boeing B737 MAX aircraft, concluding discussions with Boeing initiated in 2025.

The airline has purchased 100 B737-8 aircraft and secured options for 50 more B737 MAX jets, making this its largest Boeing single-aisle order. The agreement includes substitution rights for the B737-10.

“The new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft will bring greater efficiency and flexibility to our operations, supporting the extensive network we serve from our hub in Istanbul,” said Murat Şeker, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee.

The purchase builds on a 2025 order for up to 75 B787 Dreamliners.
