THIS month saw Albert Mieze take up duties as director of tourism at Namibia's Ministry of Environment and Tourism in a post that has been vacant since June 1 last year.
The previous director, Hennie Fourie, left the Ministry to join the private sector.
Mieze was trained in Urban Geography in Canada and worked there for a couple of years before returning to Namibia recently.
