Lithuania launches pink train

Lithuania has launched a pink soup-inspired train between the capital city, Vilnius, and Riga in Latvia.

The décor is in honour of Lithuania’s pink Šaltibarščiai soup, made from beetroot, kefir, and cucumber, ahead of the Pink Soup Festival on May 31.

One of the train’s carriages is pink with pictures of the soup, the tables, and beetroot, cucumber and egg stickers on the windows. The train was launched in mid-May and will run until August 10, according to TVP World.
