The Australian High Commission has warned of delays in processing times for visa applications for travel leading up to peak times.
Due to a high volume of applications received, processing times for visas can be up to 45 days from the date of successful lodgement, according to Visas & Passports Unlimited.
The department urges agents to advise their clients of the current time frame and to lodge in plenty of time.
