Lulu Rasebotsa, GM of Air Botswana, was re-elected Airlines Association of Southern Africa (AASA) Chairperson at the 54th AGM held in Cape Town this month. Prof John Lamola, SAA's interim CEO, was elected Deputy Chair.

“Rasebotsa and Lamola will provide guidance and support to AASA in our ongoing engagements with governments, tariff, licensing and safety regulators, airport operators, air navigation service providers and other role players in our advocacy work. Our goal is that policy, regulations, and standards promote competitive, affordable, economically and environmentally sustainable, secure and safe air transport with comprehensive intra-African connectivity,” said AASA CEO Aaron Munetsi.
