Accor hotels has announced the launch of its new loyalty and awards programme for travel advisers, HERA.

The programme is available to travel advisers worldwide. The new loyalty programme replaces the former Famous Agents programme and adds more brands, features and capabilities for online booking, tracking and renewing activity.

Travel advisers can earn reward points on their personalised HERA ID with each room night booked, which are accumulated from any Accor booking channels, GDS and hotel direct bookings. Each adviser’s history is tracked in the HERA website.

The platform also includes educational resources on Accor’s luxury and lifestyle brands such as Ennismore, a brand making its South African debut in the near future.

The platform provides access to over 270 luxury hotels and resorts under 11 of Accor’s brands including, Orient Express, Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, Emblems Collection, Banyan Tree and Faena.

Points can be redeemed year-round for the adviser’s own travel bookings or for shopping purchases through a dedicated online mall.
