African Bush Camps opens two new camps in Mana Pools

African Bush Camps’ (ABC) Nyamatusi Camp and Nyamatusi
Mahogany in Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe, will open in April 2019.

Designed following the principles of environmental
consciousness and sustainability, the camps are completely solar powered with
in-room charging facilities, and were designed to subtly incorporate the
element of water, paying homage to the Zambezi River, whilst inspiring a
feeling of remoteness, as guests get to explore a remote and pristine corner of
Mana Pools.

Nyamatusi Camp consists of six luxury tented suites with
uninterrupted views of the river and escarpment beyond, while sister camp,
Nyamatusi Mahogany, will be the latest addition to ABC’s collection of
family-focused safari camps, consisting of two family suites and two standard
tented suites.

The tents will feature en-suite facilities, with indoor and
outdoor showers, bathtubs, as well as private plunge pools, air-conditioning
and mini bars.

Nyamatusi Mahogany has 12 beds and has no age restriction, but
children under the age of 16 are not permitted to canoe or embark on a walking
safari, however guided bush walks around the camp are on offer for younger
guests. At Nyamatusi Camp, children over the age of seven are welcome.

Activities at both camps include game drives, canoeing,
catch-and-release fishing, walking safaris for children over the age of 16, and
nature walks around the camps for children up to the age of 16.

Both tented camps will open annually from April 1 until
November 30.

Guests staying at either of the new camps can land at Mana
Main Airstrip, with a two-and-a-half-hour flight from Victoria Falls, and an
hour-and-a-half flight from Harare.
