Air France-KLM Group is considering giving the group a rebrand as it finalises its acquisition of Scandinavian Airlines and, potentially, TAP Air Portugal.
The group’s CEO, Ben Smith, first revealed the plans to De Telegraaf, citing the need for a more neutral and inclusive brand identity.
“It is perfectly logical to hold the discussion about a new name, given that we plan to add new brands to the Air France-KLM Group. After all, the current name only reflects our two historical brands,” said Smith.
While rumours are circulating about the new potential name of the group, Smith confirmed that the name had not been decided on.
