Air Tanzania will launch twice-weekly flights between Johannesburg and Zanzibar from June 10.
The service will operate on a triangular route with the return flight going via Dar es Salaam.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the flight will depart Dar es Salaam at 10h45 arriving in Johannesburg at 13h15. The flight then departs Johannesburg at 14h15, arriving in Zanzibar at 18h45. The return flight departs Zanzibar at 19h35, arriving in Dar es Salaam at 20h05.
In November last year, Air Tanzania launched five weekly flights between Joburg and Dar es Salaam, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
