AirAsia X axes Kuala Lumpur-Nairobi route

13 May 2025
Comments | 0

AirAsia X will suspend its Kuala Lumpur-Nairobi route from September 1, citing lower-than-expected travel demand.

All affected passengers with travel bookings on this route from September 1 onwards have been notified and offered alternatives. These include a full refund, a credit account or a one-time, free-of-charge flight change for travel before August 31. Passengers who booked through third-party travel agents are advised to contact their agents directly for assistance.

The airline has not confirmed whether the route will return in future but stated that it continues to review network performance based on demand and commercial viability.
