Airlink is delighted to announce the appointment of two sales managers within its sales and marketing department to develop and nurture relationships with the travel trade, tour operators, tourism bodies, corporate companies, appointed GSAs, and government.
Sales Manager – South Africa
Monique Cox joined Airlink in March 2023 as the Sales and Marketing Representative responsible for Airlink’s coastal regions.
Over the past year, Cox has proved her capabilities and exceptional management of all Airlink customers throughout the coastal regions and formed strategic relationships with corporate clients and the travel trade, which has been extremely beneficial to Airlink.
Prior to joining Airlink, Cox worked for various airlines and travel agencies, holding different positions within their sales and marketing divisions.
Cox holds a Diploma in Travel and Tourism, as well as various certificates in leadership training. She brings more than two decades of experience in sales and marketing to the table.
Sales Manager – Africa
Lorraine Omar joined Airlink in August 2023 as a Sales and Marketing Representative responsible for sales in the Pretoria region as well as government sales. In December 2023 she was appointed Acting Sales Manager.
Since joining Airlink, Omar has proved her capabilities and exceptional leadership skills in fulfilling her role and was officially promoted to Sales Manager Africa, effective June 1, 2024.
Along with over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, Omar holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management degree and a Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
Before joining Airlink, Omar worked for various airlines, holding different positions within their sales and marketing divisions.
